Paige Soltis is a truly iconic artist who truly fought an uphill battle her senior year to display her intrinsic self on the ID stage. She learned that the time put into recovering from an injury makes the rewards that much sweeter. Her kind, humble, hardworking and persevering spirit are evident each time Paige performs, and judges note her passion for dance being contagious to everyone who has the privilege of seeing her.
Having taught the recreation dancers at her studio for the past 7-8 years, Paige says “being able to share my love for dance with all of [my students] makes it more special and we just get to have so much fun!” She sights the family-like connection at her home studio as a force that encourages her to constantly do her best, making sure to be a positive role model for everyone to look up to.
Paige was chosen to represent the Sandusky Nationals as their Artist of the Year because of her eager spirit both onstage and off. Whether participating in the opening number, performing onstage in solos or groups, or just being with her teammates throughout the event, the ID Team was always impressed by Paige’s professionalism and desire to continue learning and growing. We can’t wait to see where Paige’s journey takes her!

Isabella Helsel is always working to push herself to try new things and go for any new opportunities that may come her way. She wants to inspire her teammates and show them that amazing things can come from never giving up and reaching towards your goals. ID Judges note that Isabella’s true artistry lies in the soul and authentic connection she has to each piece she performs, truly embodying the energy and spirit of the choreography to take the audience on an emotional journey right alongside her.
By showing a positive influence to not just dancers, but those in all areas of her life, Isabella has shown her leadership abilities.
